HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016 !!!

There was no stitching on New Years Day but I did get a lot of laundry done.  I want to clean and organize my corner in Frank's office. Some how I have to get my stitching started up again.

Lost My Stitching Mojo...

I lost my stitching mojo. I haven't picked up a needle since The Hersey Retreat 2015 in October. It hasn't stopped me from getting more stash. 

Suzy's Birth Sampler

I decided to stitch a Mermaid Birth Sampler for Suzana instead of the Name Sampler. Suzy's 1 yr birthday party theme was Mermaids. So I'm going to go with it. I ordered it from 123Stitch.com and I should get it tomorrow or Friday.

I can't believe it's July already. I spend way to much time on the internet.  I have hardly touched the needle.  See below.

Two Peas in a Pod

I decided to switch over to "Two Peas in a Pod" from the Cross Stitch and Country Crafts, May/Jun 1991 issue.  This is for my two Chunky Monkeys Caleb and Cole.

Caleb is the one in the back and Cole is front and center.

Old Friend

I got this from eBay and it arrived today. This called "Old Friend" by Stoney Creek Collection 2003.
It reminded me of my son Jason's old teddy bear. I'm going to do this for my grandson Oliver, Jason's and Ashley's baby Oliver due in this July.

My Cross Stitch Corner

This is my cross stitch corner stitching buddies and all. The pole in the background is my full spectrum lamp.

I know it looks like a mess but other then the red planner everything is carefully organized.
