Old Friend

I got this from eBay and it arrived today. This called "Old Friend" by Stoney Creek Collection 2003.
It reminded me of my son Jason's old teddy bear. I'm going to do this for my grandson Oliver, Jason's and Ashley's baby Oliver due in this July.

This is my cross stitch corner stitching buddies and all. The pole in the background is my full spectrum lamp.

I know it looks like a mess but other then the red planner everything is carefully organized.

I did get 1 finish in the month of May.  It was a 10 yr old UFO. I plan to make it into a pillow and give it to the intended recipient. I'm challenging myself to finish one project a month, lets see how that works for me.

I found a Noah's Ark Birth sampler for baby boy Cannon. I put Happy Nappers away for a while. I'll be stitching on 1 of 4 baby samplers.

Hello Sunshine!

This is the first Spring in our new house and I feel so blessed that we're here in this house. It still doesn't feel real.  

Since my last post I now have grandchild number 9 due in November! Jenn is expecting number 4!.  I'm so excited!!!  Three grandbabies due this year!

On the stitching front I'm back to stitching on the Kustom Krafts "Happy Nappers". I put it down for a few months but I picked it back up in March 2015.

I'm also stitching Birth Sampler number 4 for Suzy and Birth Sampler Number 5 for Caleb and Cole. I picked up a Sampler for Oliver. I still have to pick one out for Isabella and one for Baby Cannon.  

I'm going to attend a stitching retreat next weekend Apr 24th-26th. It's my first retreat I'm anxious and looking forward to it at the same time. I'll take pictures later of my other WIPs.

Happy New Year 2015

Well my grandbabies are getting big. Suzy is 6 months and Caleb and Cole are 2 months. All very precious. Michael and Lauren's baby is due in May and Jason's and Ashley 's baby is due in July.  I can't wait.

On the stitching front. I haven't changed from November.

November is here...

I can't believe how fast this year is going by. My granddaughter Suzana Jane is 3 months old now. My daughter's twins finally arrived on the 26th of October. Caleb Michael and Cole Jason.  They were in the NICU for one week and one day but they're home now.  They are just beautiful. All my grandchildren are beautiful. 

On the stitching front, I'm on page 4 of Happy Nappers. I've started Caleb and Cole's birth sampler and I received and started Suzana Jane's birthsampler. And I started the Tempting Tea Sampler by Tempting Tangles.

Change Of Plans...

Well Jason's wedding took place and it was wonderful.  Jennifer had Suzana Jane and she is beautiful. Micheal's house is really nice. We're so proud of him.  Leigh Ann is having twin boys in Nov. Now I'm stitching 2 birth samplers. 1 for Suzana and 1 for the twins. and also Jason's Anniversary picture the Happy Nappers. I will try to add pictures later.
